Valentine's Craft Night

This is a special ministry that the Lord has given to me. He uses my crafts to draw women into fellowship. He has blessed me with friends, Mary, Mari Mari and Betsy, who also love crafts and are willing to teach their crafts as well. We do this about once every couple of months; especially before holidays.

We start with prayer and discuss a passage in the bible. Since Valentine's Day is approaching, we looked at scriptures on love. Our passage was 1 Corinthians 13 and the key scripture was 1 Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. We also take prayer requests. I continue to pray on these after the craft night.

Tonight, we made a scrapbook page, a mini-album, a candy jar and a gift basket.

I did this with my January kit from Studio Calico. This is one of my favorite kits so far. The design was inspired by a Sketch Challenge on Facebook.

My friend, Betsy is a Stampin' Up Demonstrator. I purchased this Simply Sent Card Kit from her. It's so cool. It has the stamps, ink, cards, envelopes and instructions. So easy. And, it looks good displayed in my family room.

Magnet / Coaster

This can be used as a magnet by attaching magnet strips to the back. For a coaster, coat with Mod Podge.

Christmas Musical

Glory to God! I produced and directed my first musical! The kids did a wonderful job. My mother in law made the gorgeous costumes.
